What are cookies?

What are cookies used for?
These files make it possible to recognize the user's device and present content in a relevant way, adapted to their preferences. Cookies give users a pleasant browsing experience and support Phonetastic GSM's efforts to offer convenient services — for example, online privacy preferences.
They're also used to prepare anonymous, aggregated statistics that help us understand how a user makes use of our pages, allowing us to improve their structure and content — without personally identifying the user.

Do cookies contain personal data?

Deleting cookies

Why are cookies important for the internet?

Other attacks exploit incorrect server settings, when a website doesn't require the browser to use only encrypted channels.
Safe and responsible browsing

- If you're the only user of the computer, you can set long expiration periods
- If you share access, set the browser to clear browsing data every time it closes
- Install and keep an anti-spyware application updated
- Keep your browser always up to date — many attacks exploit old versions
